Dr. Michalko is from Northern California. She first came to New York to complete her undergraduate education at the University of Rochester as a Rochester Early Medical Scholar. She earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester where she graduated first in her class with Distinction in Community Health.
Dr. Michalko completed her pediatric residency training at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Northern California. During residency, she completed additional education and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Dr. Michalko returned to Rochester in 2024 with her husband and daughter and joined Westside Pediatric Group. She is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Rochester and is on staff with URMC and RRH local hospitals.
